Biography
Dave began racing collegiates in the early ’80s and continued as a Cat 3 in road, track, and cyclocross disciplines in California, Colorado, and Seattle for more than a decade before hanging up the bikes to work as a climbing, backcountry skiing and mountaineering guide in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park. He resumed cycling as a master racer in 2007 racing in the inter-mountain states and has since returned to Seattle where he concentrates on time trials, road and cyclocross racing. He’s joined the SCCA/Starbucks squad in time for the 2012 cross season after being continually impressed with the team’s positive racing style and camaraderie.
