Team: Peter Rouse
Biography
Pete grew up with his eight sisters and three brothers in southern California, and received an early education into the bicycle racing scene through his brother-in-law who raced bikes with an up and coming young kid named Greg Lemond in the late 70’s. Having raced as a Cat 3 road rider in California for several years, Pete re-located to Seattle in the 1997, where he met his beautiful wife Melissa and spent more time on the soccer pitch than on a bicycle. After a lengthy string of injuries which included a broken foot and broken kneecap, and helping team USA Masters win the All Nations Cup against Brazil last summer, Pete has elected to hang up the soccer shoes and is excited to be a part of this team and looking forward to racing with this great group of men and women.
When not working or riding the bike, Pete enjoys spending time with Melissa on the slopes in the winter, and on the lakes or the links in the summer.
